[AZ-Observing] ISS Transit of Sun Sunday: Path Near Vekol

If it's clear, Jenn and I will be watching the International Space Station pass
in front of the sun on Sunday morning. This event is visible only along a
narrow path. Fortunately, this path is near Vekol, where many of us plan to be
observing the previous night.

The time of the transit is 11:56 a.m. Sunday, and we will be set up south of
the I-8/Stanfield Rd. interchange. I have posted a map that shows the transit
line here.

Since the entire duration of the ISS passage across the sun's disc is 0.75
seconds, these are difficult to view. If you have a solar filter and video
gear, though, it will gather many images of the ISS, such as this one.
