[AZ-Observing] Re: Herschel 400 Awards in Arizona

Sorry, Brian, I was at work when I typed the e-mail and was interrupted in
the middle
with a question on ESD physics as it related to a semiconductor pad cell
we're
working on. It's easy to focus on a brain fart and ignore the content
(expatriot vs
expatriate); it's Debate 101. The point is that doing the H400 as a race is
a
waste of time. I've done the Messier Marathon, best result 109 (M30 missed)
and, if I had not observed the M-objects many times, I would not even know
what they looked like. Since I have observed the M-objects more slowly and
enjoyed them, I can find most from memory. I don't use a goto scope.
