I don't know what's it like in Flagstaff, but all morning the smoke has
been drifting into the Prescot area, and at this moment I cannot see
Mingus mountain from Dewey.
It may be possible the Prescott area was getting some smaller amounts of
the California fire yesterday. The day before yesterday on my way to
dinner, there was a really pretty sunset with orange clouds. The thing
differrent was that the sunset had a purple hue which I had never seen
before. The next day, yesterday, it was pretty hazy all day, although
not anywhere near as bad as now. It was definitely smoke from a fire.
Because it was so widespread, the entire sky and horizon, I had
concluded that it was the smoke from the California fire, but does
anyone know if there was an Arizona or New Mexico fire that could have
caused this?
