I have to side with the folks that say keep it simple. The MM is a FUN activity, something different from the usual. Let's not begin creating classes of observers based on equipment. I'd much rather see 500 marathoners with whirring Gotos than 40 sweating through the list starhopping. Besides Goto scope owners will want dark skies just like those who drive by hand, and we need all the help we can get.
