[AZ-Observing] Re: Good Sentinel this weekend

Yes, I have no doubt Pierre would have loved a good view of Jupiter from
Sentinel this weekend.  Hey, maybe he did.  Who knows?

Bill, the hot days are one main reason I am going to try and have the SSSG
before the Messier Marathon from now on.  We can do Winter Milky Way stuff
once it gets dark and Leo-Virgo-Coma Galaxy Land before dawn.  This does
mean that the evenings will be much cooler, so bring that thick parka for
next year.

I did not get a chance to look through Rick's new 10 incher and I am
ashamed.  I will make time for that at the Mormon Mt. session.  One of these
days I am going to go to one of these star parties without a telescope so I
can spend some time observing with all the friends who show up.  Of course,
everyone can't make that same decision or there would be no scopes to use!

After many months of poor weather on New Moon weekend, it has been very nice
to get in some observing with all the fun people at both Sentinel and the
Messier Marathon.  Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed some time under
Arizona skies.
