Along with Rick's observation, I can also report that IC 1295
is nothing like mag 15, but instead no fainter than about 11.5,
since it is visible without filters from a dark site in my 70mm Pronto.
Chris might also want to mention (and mark in his image)
that stellar planetary K 4-8 = PN G025.3-04.6. It is located about
4' northwest of IC 1295. In Chris image, find the yellowish star
a couple of diameters of IC 1295 west (right). Then not far to the
upper ight of that star is an arc of five opening southeast.
Notice the middle star of that arc is very blue---that's the planetary.
K 4-8 is about mag 14 or so, and is visible in a 6-inch at high
power, and really pops out nicely with an [OIII] filter by blinking.
