[AZ-Observing] Re: GCSP North Rim Report

All-

While using my lil' ole 5mw at the Canyon rim along with a pair of
binoculars, the circular beam of light 4 or 5 feet in diameter could
easily be seen projected down on the Tonto Plateau a couple miles away.  A
few years back, someone at the north rim reported back to me that a laser
(not necessarily mine, but I was careful to steady it against something
once) made a pretty sharply defined circular spot about 15 feet in
diameter at the north rim distance of 10 miles...
