Andrew, when you call the power company be sure to have the serial number
from the light pole in addition to the location - not sure which they will
need.  When APS put a street light in my front yard they put a shield on the
property side and it does a fine job blocking light from just past the
banquette to the house and backyard.

   Ok, My wife alerted me to this comet as I have been not on line for
the last few days. She is very excited to have "discovered" it before me
and had not heard of it before. I will never live this down. And she saw
it while driving home amid street lights. She dragged me out to the back
yard but the neighbors tree blocked our view so we went out front and
even in the annoying glow of the street light we could see it. I must
get the city to place a device to block the light from shining into my
back yard on that one.
