About 7:24 UT = 12:24am I saw a fairly bright fireball from
Anderson Mesa. Direction was roughly southwest toward Prescott,
and probably that far or farther. Electric-arc blue, rather diffuse
or fuzzy, a few fragments falling off near the end. Very rapid,
heading west/southwest, and no persistent train. About as bright as
the Moon, roughly mag -6 or -8 (the Moon's shadows were replaced
by the shadows of the fireball momentarily). Probably pretty
spectacular for anyone outside in the Prescott-Wickenburg-Aguila area.
