Very nice. As I mentioned, I had additional images (2-min exposures) that I can
build an animation with, but not sure I will.
And yes…. This thing is moving VERY FAST.
But it does seem to have “lost its head”…. (I wanted so bad to say “Lots its
mind”… )
I am thinking the sun may have done it in…
There are several postings on the web over the last day or so indicating the
same thing.
Good luck capturing C/2015 V2. It is an “amazing” sight !

C/2015 Johnson was AMAZING !! It showed up clear, with a huge tail and was

I caught about a half hour of 5 min frames, and then another half hour of 2
min frames for a possible animation.

45P was another story. In the 5 min frames, it is just a “light streakâ€
crossing the sky (and very fast).
You might describe it as spotting the tail, but not seeing the head !!
But it moved all right.
I only got 3 5-min exposures (I wasn’t sure I had the target)… And then
about 10 more 2-min frames for a possible animation.
