Rick, et al,
Thanks for your allowing us to address your concerns regarding our products.
Here at Red Oak Astronomy (tm), we purchase the finest moiston-free aluminum
available (extruded at the time of a cloudless, sub-arc second seeing, new
moon), and have de-moistoned the bearings, gears, and such using a complex
process involving Jack Daniel's, Coca-Cola, loud rock music, a bicycle inner
tube, and duct tape. As an extra precaution, the resulting products will
already have been exposed to release any leftover trapped moistons by the
time of delivery.
In as much, I can confidently guarantee that any clouds that *might* form
around MM will be from other products (i.e.., a pair of Celestron (tm) GPS
telescopes :-P ) that were not built with our fragile eco-astro-system in
mind, and often require weeks and months to de-moiston.
