Got the adapter all machined except for the dovetail part.  I am increasing
the area of the top of the mount from 4.250" to 5.000" and upgrading the
metallurgy from cast AL to bar stock AL.

Should give peace of mind and stability to boot!

   I made some Losmondy compatible dovetails a couple of years ago, and
this is a section.  Hope this helps.
   I really have found my self in the same boat, wanting to make
something for myself and thinking it might as well be compatible with
existing commercial wares.
