Subject: [AZ-Observing] Did anyone see it?

My neighbor left a phone message stating he and his brother had seen a
bright, naked eye, star like object in the NW around 1245 to 1300 today. The
object remained visible long enough for him to retrieve binoculars and
observe the object. In the binoculars he reported a dark center to the
object. He reported the object as stationary or moving very slowly before
fading out. I see nothing in heaven_above to explain it. I'd guess a
stationary satellite? Observation from Sun City AZ.
