Just because I had a moment I tried to locate Jupiter this afternoon
around 2:30 with the Moon high in the sky. I had just stepped out to my
vehicle to get something and noticed the Moon. Grabbed the binos that
were in the car and gave it a try, no luck, even with the binos. I
double checked the location and angular separation from the Moon on my
Palm Pilot so I knew I was looking in the right spot WEST of the Moon. =
Nothing!

I am sure anyone looking out the windows where I work thought I was
nuts. But no worse than Deb and I on the roof with binos to check out
both LINEAR and NEAT. Two binocular comets at once, now that's =
different.
