   It's a heck of a haul from the far north valley, but Vekol is a very 
good site, particularly to the south and west.  You'll find people there 
if it's clear pretty much any Saturday night when the Moon sets before 
21:00 or rises after midnight, local time.  There's a good map on the 
EVAC site, and although it's listed as members-only one night each 
month, no one will complain about anyone who shows up provided they 
observe star party etiquette.
