But it was cloudless, and I was good to go !!
I did succeed in capturing data on both comets.
C/2015 Johnson was AMAZING !! It showed up clear, with a huge tail and was
clear in the first unprocessed 5 min frame.
I caught about a half hour of 5 min frames, and then another half hour of 2
min frames for a possible animation.

45P was another story. In the 5 min frames, it is just a “light streak”
crossing the sky (and very fast).
You might describe it as spotting the tail, but not seeing the head !!
But it moved all right.
I only got 3 5-min exposures (I wasn’t sure I had the target)… And then about
10 more 2-min frames for a possible animation.
