Wonderful image, Chris!
I suppose that if we know it is a 40-minute exposure with 5-minute
sub-frames, it would be possible to calculate the comet's tangential
displacement and then, knowing the ephemerids, compute the true space
velocity... but I don't feel that ambitious today.
