This is an interesting nucleus. The night before last when everyone was
alerted to the outburst, I observed three components to the nucleus in
my 16" Meade. My guess is that it had fragmented into at least 3 pieces
which may account for its sudden brightening. Last night it appeared
like a normal unitary nucleus, and tonight you say it appears to be
offset to one side.
