[AZ-Observing] Re: Comet C/2002 C1 Ikeya/Zhang Image

I was able to barely discern the tail with my 8.5" Mak-Newt using the same
techniques Frank mentioned..

The tail was also visible through my 10" much like Andrew's photograph, but
with very low surface brightness.  A combination of averted vision and
slightly shaking the telescope seemingly increased the contrast between the
faint tail and the background.

I look forward to following this comet later in the season.
