[AZ-Observing] Re: Cherry Road Problem

Rick;

Wouldn't you know that I had the Nexstar 11 GPS up and running last =
night
and never thought about writing down the earthly position. I will try =
next
time, if the weather will let up give it a try next weekend.

See ya;

I just sent a map and written directions to Stan Clark and Rick Tejera
concerning the site we agreed to call "Cherry II" last night. If anyone =
=3D
has anything to add, please send it along. I will include the text =
below.
=3D I had fun and I heard many people say that they would be willing to =
return
there in the future. So, let's try it for a few months here and see how =
=3D
it turns out.

We certainly seem to have gotten in a good observing session between =3D =
windy
storm fronts. Just lucky, I guess.=3D20

Cherry Road II site Directions

Drive north on I-17 about 70 miles from central Phoenix to the Cherry =
=3D Road
exit. This is state highway 169. Turn left over the freeway to the =3D =
west
and go about 5 miles, just beyond mile marker number 10. At the sign =
=3D
which says "Cherry 6" turn south onto a dirt road. Note: this is the =
=3D
opposite direction of the arrow that is on the sign. The observing site =
is
about 6/10 of a mile south on the dirt road on the left, a rather large
field. =3D It is one of the few places where the dirt birm on the edge =
of the
road =3D will allow you to drive off the road.=3D20
