[AZ-Observing] Re: Cherry Road Problem

 
I was at the Cherry road site last night.  You can get in there, but you
needto turn in either a little earlier or later, and it's not easy to get in
there.  

I still feel very uncomfortable at that site especially by myself as someone
obviously doesn't want people on "their part of the national forest".  I
believe that the birm was intentionally made to block people from turning in
there as the road is not at all maintained and there seems to be no other
logical reason for it.  I'm always worried (especially when I'm by myself)
that the person who thinks he "owns" that area will come by an run me out of
there.  If we want to keep using that site, I think we need to get a written
statement from the Prescott National Forest personal stating that it is OK
topark there and that it is OK to "modify" to road to allow access to the
area.

Personally, I prefer to find another summer site.  Let me know if anyone
wants to go up earlier today and look around.
