[AZ-Observing] Re: Cherry Rd -Friday Night

Well, I made it out to Flat Iron and two other showed up, Unfortunately,
their names escape me at the moment, one was a new member who was out with
his 4.5 reflector. 

There was some High Cirrus over head and to the west when we got there, but
they dissipated quite nicely by twilights end. I gave the conditions at 7
for transparency & 6 for seeing. Not great, but certainly not bad.

I ran through some of the upcoming objects on AJ Call For Observations list,
(Yes AJ, I saw the MCG object) and helped our new fellow find a few things
and show him that you can see a lot with 4.5 inches of aperture. Called it
quits around midnight and was home in bed by 0100.    

I look forward to tales of the bino chair v2.0

No observing up here. It was cloudy yesterday afternoon. I peeked out the
window around 10 and I could see some stars but this morning it is partly
cloudy, high clouds, like it was yesterday. The opportunities for observing
have not been good up here for the past month it seems. I think it may have
been better around Phx and south.
