I assume this is the Cave Creek fire I am seeing to the southeast.
Behind the mountain to the southeast there is a bright orange glow and
with my binoculars I can see flames leap up now and then. At times the
orange glow reaches very high above the mountain top. There is a
mountain further behind that also has an orange glow and flames. If this
is the Cave Creek fire it sure has traveled. This is fantastic. It
appears they have not come close to containing it.
