Jimmy, you raise an interesting concept. Bagging objects during the AAMM in daylight. If you read the information on the SAC web site there isn't any reference to the observations being done during daylight. Just that they have to be turned in within an hour after sunrise Sunday. I suppose one could start during the day Saturday, but that would not be in keeping with the marathon concept. In addition Messier didn't find stuff during the day.
