[AZ-Observing] Re: Aurora in Tucson

I quickly typed the last note while dashing into the house to get a 35mm
camera, the glow was just too faint for the digital. All I was seeing
was a red glow that came and went across the top of the Catalinas,
visible from my very light polluted location in central Tucson.
I just checked the Kitt Peak CONCAM images, they definitely show
something that shows up in the north over the last hour.
For now it is to bed, not being a paid astronomer I do need to work tomorrow...
