Among the details I looked at was in the image "East of M6". I noticed that the red supergiant BM Sco in M6 appears rather faint, so just now this evening I had a look binoculars to confirm that this must be an artifact of the camera/sensor or the images as displayed, since the star is as bright as normal---roughly V mag 5.5, whereas it looks more like 7th in the image.
