[AZ-Observing] Re: Arizona weather question

Yes I see that the average rainfall for Tucson during the monsoon
months is a lot more than for Phoenix. Somehow I imagine that we're
probably about the only people that don't love the monsoons. I know
if I wasn't an astronomer that I would love them. I normally don't
like rain and gloomy clouds but I think these monsoons are just cool!
Of course, I may feel different after I've lived here for a few
years (or even by late August) but for now they're like nothing I've
seen before. Their clockwork regularity is amazing (daily and
seasonally).
