[AZ-Observing] Arizona Science Center, Sat. May 25th, 7:00--9:30

Hi Everyone,
To celebrate the landing of the Phoenix Lander on Mars, the Arizona Science
Center is having a public star party there in the mall area of Heritage Square
in downtown Phoenix and needs some of us to set up our scopes to knock the
socks of the uninitiated.

It's a really fun venue with some of the public being there specifically for
the Arizona Science Center, and some just passers-by on the way to/from the
symphony and other downtown events.

Mike George will have the gates open from 6:30-7:30 for you to drive in and
set up. Electrical outlets are there for your equipment plus you can leave
your vehicle with you. Saturn will be gorgeous; and if you don't mind, bring
along your 8 meter so you can show the Phoenix Lander's decent onto a tiny but
available Mars:-)

So, if you're not headed out to the RTMC or out of town observing, please bring
your scope to this fun and worthwhile public event.

Contact me, Jennifer Polakis m24@xxxxxxx 480 967.1658 or Mike George at Arizona
Science Center mikeg@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 602-716-2079 for additional information and
to let us know you're coming.

Thanks for helping with this!

Kind Regards,
Jennifer Polakis, VP SAC
