I was at Cherry Rd this past weekend and didn't have an ant problem. There were a couple of ant colonies near the south end of the field and one about midway down the west side. But far enough away not to be a problem. Just steer clear of the areas and you shouldn't have a problem. Also past experience show these ants seem to pack it in at dark. Ant Problem? Try diatomaceous earth if it is dry out. Sprinkle this around the ant hill or use to create a wall between you and the ants. The diatomaceous earth acts like razor wire to the ants so they won't cross. Available at quality plant nurseries and pool supply stores. Environmentally safe. Enjoy the weekend! Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going to this "event" this weekend. I'll be bringing my new 25" Obsession. Are the ants really that bad? I mean bad enough to climb up an 8 ft ladder to get me?
