[AZ-Observing] Re: Any up for Sunday Night at Eagle Eye?

As much as I'd like to go, gotta crazy little thang called work. I did go
onto Terraserver to see if I could find the new site Steve mentioned by his
decription & directions. I think I got it. Thad, if you go bring your GPS and
compare the site you find with these coodinates: N33.73616, W113.29867 or N33
44
10, W113 17 55.
From the sattleite photo this spot is along a road just north of the EE1
site. You can see the clearing that is EE1 and the road about 1/2 in looks like
it
turns into a wash as Steve describes. I'd be intersted to know if this is the
spot.

Clear Skies

Thad and Matt;

I am going to pick up relatives at the airport at 3 o'clock, so I will not
be able to make it for a trip to Eagle Eye Survey Site anytime soon, but I
would certainly look forward to a report from you guys. Take a compass and
see what directions you can observe easily, there is a hill that appears to
be to the SW and might need to be "observed around" if you have a list to
the south. Otherwise the sky is pretty wide open and there is a nice
mountain that appeared to block off lights of Phoenix nicely.

Hope it all works out;
Steve
