I'd like to join in the round of applause for AJ, Jack, Peter and all who
helped organize the marathon and 1st annual marathon weenie roast.
This was my third trip to Arizona City and I can honestly say the marathon
star party has gotten more fun with each successive visit. This year, I
decided to work on another project rather than gorge myself on Messier
objects. Twenty-eight new sketches made the return trip up the hill. They'll
eventually find a home on my website, probably within the next week to ten
days. Two feature FLS (faint little stinker) galaxy clusters in Virgo,
including a couple of Mitchell Anonymous Catalog objects, which may be the
faintest DSOs I've ever observed with my 10-inch.
Regards,
Bill Ferris
