[AZ-Observing] Re: APOD Ikeya/Zhang

Thanks!  The shot was CCD, I build the things after all.  The camera was
one I rebuilt out of discarded parts and a KAF1602E CCD that was
rejected for trouble with its output amplifier.  I managed to modify the
amplifier chain to deal with the trouble and have a nice camera for my
efforts.  I have done better shots, but the comet was low in the sky and
setting fast.  I am amazed that the shots came out, practically nothing
else that night did, the seeing was awful.
