Brent,

Thanks for the visual description - much appreciated.  I tried to see the
shuttle from south Phoenix (Tempe), but my northern horizon was way too high
(houses, trees, etc.) so missed any possibility of a sighting.  Also, thanks
for the words to "Hail, Columbia" - I had forgotten about that song
altogether.
