[AZ-Observing] Re: 5 Mile Meadow, prescribed burns, and other useful info.....

 I typically commute to work on my bicycle once or twice a 
 week, and have done so for many years. When you ride as hard 
 as I do and as far, even a light wind becomes a big factor. I 
 can tell you that the predominant trend is for the morning 
 wind, if there is any (there usually isn't) to be out of the 
 West and for the afternoon breeze to shift around sooner or 
 later to the South West - that is coming out of the South 
 West. I know that this is almost ALWAYS the case unless 
 there's some kind of "weather" happening. At least that's true 
 locally (Northern Phoenix)
