[AZ-Observing] Re: 5 Mile Meadow

Steve Coe and I looked a long time for a site like this - one easily 
accessible by vehicles with low clearance like a Saturn.  The road 
should be no trouble for your motor home.

Not sure how readily available Five Mile Meadow is during winter - 
depends on what you mean available.  To us Arizonanas we stay away from 
that area during the time interval you suggest for two reasons.  First 
it is to cold for us desert dwellers, most of us start chickening out 
when the temps get to freezing.  Second is snow and I don't know how 
much they normally have.  The nice forest ranger that visited us 
Saturday said that during the last few years of our drought there hasn't 
been very much.  But again, being desert dwellers we stay away from snow!
