[AZ-Observing] Re: 5 MM

While the Cherry Road group  was ingaged in it's "where did M31 go?" 
discussion we looked at the massive build up over your way and figured you 
wouldn't be seeing much. But I'm sure you enjoyed the peace and quite as did 
we. (Well we had peace, the quiet was kinda broken up by the coyotes howling 
along to Iron Butterfly's, Inna Gada Da Vida.. :-)

Thanks to the Clear Sky Clock and my leap of faith in it, I had two great 
nights at 5 Mile Meadow.  The first night was with Paul Lind and the second 
with Darrell Spencer.  Both afternoons started out partly cloudy and very 
windy, but by 2000 the clouds and wind were gone. Friday night was a little 
better than Thursday.  The ATV's were more of a problem Thursday night than 
Friday, but by 2200 both nights they went to bed.  Had no bites of any kind 
all weekend!!  Grass in the meadow was about a foot high. Stayed Saturday 
night, had a beer and watched the cloud cover go from 70% to 100% and went 
to bed.
