<USS Avalon> "Where is dat girl at?" Georgia Lewis Ensign (CmdrSkyler)

"Now where is dat girl at?"

         Georgia made it back on board the Avalon just in time. She had had 
such a great time visiting with all her friends back home she had almost missed 
her shuttle back. She had so much she wanted to tell Skyler that she was 
eager to see her.

         She deposited her gear in her quarters and checked the schedule to 
see when she was to report for duty. According to the ships computer she still 
had a day before she actually had to report for duty. She unpacked all the 
goodies and of course the "special" homebaked Pecan Pie's. She had one for 
Captain Ketchum and one for Skyler and Mehdi.
Once she had everything unpacked she would deliver the pies in person. That 
way she could tell Skyler all about Eliza Mae and the stories from home.

         It didn't take her long to unpack. She didn't require much.  All she 
required was the friendships she had and a place to lay her head. She picked 
up the pies and left her quarters with a song in her heart and headed off in 
the direction of the bridge to deliver the pie to Captain Ketchum. She would 
deliver Skyler's to her quarters.

         She entered the lift and told it to take her to the bridge. The 
smell of the pie was engulfing the entire lift. The lift started to move and 
Georgia eagerly waited for it's arrival to the bridge. She couldn't wait to see 
the 
look on the Captain's face when she handed him his own Pecan pie. The lift 
stopped and the doors opened. Georgia walked out and immediately everone on the 
bridge turned and looked her way.

         She wasn't surprised by this, mainly because the smell of her pies 
made everyone turn their heads. She was surprised when she got closer to the 
command chairs and Captain Ketchum wasn't sitting there and neither was Skyler. 
 
She looked for a familiar face and found one sitting at navigation's.

         "Ensign Lewis, let me introduce you to Captain Flubb. He is Captain 
Ketchum's replacement."  

         Georgia looked at Phillipa with a look of shock and dismay. 
         
         "Uh, Welcome aboard Sir. It's a pleasure to meet you. Might I ask 
where Commander Skyler is?"

         Before Captain Flubb could answer Phillipa answered, "Georgia, 
Skyler is on Starbase 12 with Captain Ketchum. We are going to pick her up on 
our 
way to our new assignment. I am sure Dr. Idrys can explain everything."

         "Thank you Phillipa. I will go and see him now.  It was nice meeting 
you Captain."

         Georgia turned and hurriedly returned to the lift with pie in hand 
and was so flustered and that she couldn't even get the word, "sickbay" out 
quick enough. As the lift was moving she thought to herself.  "Now where is dat 
girl and what trouble is she in now?"

         The pies would have to wait until they reached Starbase 12 after 
all. Georgia was in a dander now so Skyler had best watch out.
