       Skyler had just left sickbay after talking to Kira Nerys. She was 
definitely a die hard fan of Karg's and would do anything for him. Skyler had 
to 
admit that she was envious of Kira. She had been feeling or sensing a distance 
from Javan.

       After their "brief" time together Skyler had hopes that their 
relationship would develop into something more permanent. But as time moved 
forward, 
it seemed as if their relationship was moving backwards. She was sensing a 
great divide between them. A divide that apparently couldn't be crossed, or one 
that Javan wasn't willing to even try and cross.

       It was going to hurt and Skyler was going to have to accept that, She 
was also going to have to accept the fact that there would be tension between 
them when working together. Perhaps they could work together, but Skyler had 
her doubts. She didn't know if she would be able to watch him gawk at every new 
female that came aboard the ship. That didn't matter, she had enough work to 
do as the XO to keep her busy on a daily basis.

       Skyler left her office and reported to the bridge, where she relieved 
Keith. At least on the bridge she could contemplate what she was going to do 
with Karg's punishment for going AWOL on DS9. Not to mention taking a shuttle 
for personal use, that in return ended up in an extended leave.

       Perhaps she would confine him to his quarters, without Kira, who would 
be confined to separate quarters as well. Also if Kira was going to stay 
onboard the Avalon she was going to have to start pulling her wait and not just 
lounging around cooing after Karg.

       Skyler had been informed that the Allegiance was still nearby and was 
being towed at a safe distance. Hopefully whatever being was on the Allegiance 
didn't come aboard the Avalon with Karg and his so called "OPS" mission.

       "Henderson, run an internal sensor sweep and keep me posted of any 
unusual life forms you may find."

       "Understood Commander. I will begin the internal sweeps as we 
speak......"

       Skyler hoped that the sweeps would alert them to any intruders as well 
as let her know when Javan or the counselor were approaching the bridge or 
the holodeck. She really didn't want to run into either one of them, But 
sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do............................
