"What the Hell is Wrong Now?"

         Skyler had been sitting in the little pub reminiscing over her past 
adventures with Captain Ketchum for what seemed like hours, but in reality had 
only been a few short ones. She still had not heard back from Mehdi and that 
had her a little on edge.  She was starting to notice some discomfort in her 
temples and down the back of her neck. Maybe she was just worrying too much.

         She sat there for a few more minutes hoping that the pain would go 
away or maybe she could will away, but of course that wasn't going to happen.  
Not knowing for sure when the Avalon was going to arrive Skyler decided she 
might as well go visit that old cahoot of a doctor down in the medical 
department. 

         Taking the long way through the station Skyler finally made it to 
sickbay at which point the pain in her temples was excruciating. She looked 
around and Dr. Brookman was no where to be found. She was about to leave when 
she 
heard someone speaking to her in the background.

         "May I help you Commander?"

         Turning around, Skyler saw an older woman in a white lab coat. She 
didn't recall seeing this person when she was here before.

         "Actually, I was looking for Dr. Brookman, but since he doesn't 
appear to be around I will just come back at another time. Thank you anyway." 

         "You don't need to leave. I am one of Dr. Brookman's Assistant's. My 
name is Dr. Alexis Cazook. At your service Commander. Now why don't you come 
and have a seat and let's see if we can't find out what the problem is."

         Dr. Cazook's led Skyler to a Bio bed and picked up a tricorder and 
began to scan her while at the same time talking to herself. Skyler wasn't sure 
where Starfleet medical was getting these Doctor's from these day's, but they 
were definitely getting stranger and stranger each time she appeared in 
sickbay.

         "Really Doctor, It's just a headache from too much worry. I'm sure 
I'll be fine by the time the Avalon returns to pick me up. If you could just 
give me something for the pain I will be on my way. It's really nothing that 
requires another complete exam."

         Skyler's words were falling of deaf ears as Dr. Cazook continued to 
scan and re-scan until Skyler thought the Doctor's eyes were going to fall out 
of her head.

         "Hmm, this is most unusual Commander. According to the tricorder it 
can't tell me what is wrong with you, or at least nothing that matches what 
you are describing. I am going to have to call Dr. Brookman in for a 
consultation. He is always interested in cases such as yours. I will be back 
shortly."

         ~~Cases such as mine. What on earth was she talking about. I don't 
need that old codger examining me again. I should really get out of here while 
I can, but this pain is getting pretty bad~~

         In the background Skyler could hear Dr. Cazook paging Dr. Brookman.

         "Dr. Brookman, You are needed in sickbay immediately. We have a most 
unusual case that will interest you. You better hurry."
