Walker Reports on Effects
by
Sgt. Walker Texas Ranger, A/Sec, /USS Avalon/-C
Walker's report, when it reached the Captain and Admiral, first
apologized for the lateness of the filing, then showed a lengthy list of
items, ranging from the suit of armor and its rack to numerous weapons
to the equipment Talea used for armorsmithing, along with their
certification of ownership, which was valid in both the Federation and
the Regellian Alliance.
His report showed much the same data as Talea's in reference to the
hard-stasis chamber and its occupant, although his report covered three
full pages, as he was a little more thorough, and didn't have access to
the Starfleet Medical portion of the Blackstone data.
As he finished sending the report, Walker reflected that it was true
that many of Talea's effects were unusual and some were, some might
argue, a little dangerous (the chakram being one such, as sharp as it
was!) but he knew his own collection was equally as dangerous, if
smaller, and both had the skill to use the weapons and tools properly
and the wisdom to not use them in an improper fashion.
He just hoped Talea would speak with him after his massive mishandling
of this situation; the report had languished for several days before it
was sent, after all.
