"The Final Bout"

The meeting with Elissabeth went about as well as expected. There  enough 
tension in the room that you could cut it with a knife. Skyler didn't  know 
what 
to do. She wasn't sure she could make it through another holodeck  program, 
yet at the same time she needed to feel something even if it was  pain.
 
She had thought about talking to Melanie but she had her own issues  with 
Elijah, Georgia would just give her a swift kick in the ass and tell her to  
get 
over it. That Marksbury would get over it eventually. Amelia was just  playing 
some kind of game. The only place she felt real was the holodeck. 
 
She changed her into her usual outfit and went through the  procedure that 
had now become natural. She did her transport to the holodeck,  ran the 
program, 
overrid the safeties and entered the program. She knew in time  he would 
attack and at this point she didn't really care. She had made a few  
modifications 
to the program so that he would not be alone, he would have his  friendly 
Cardassian with him.
 
As she proceeded with caution she pulled out her Daqtagh with all  three 
blades out. She stood still listening and taking in the lack of sounds. It  
wasn't 
long before she met her first foe the Cardassian. He stood in front of  her 
patiently waiting. He was at least 70 lbs bigger than she was and a good 4  
inches taller. They approached each other with caution, but he knew he had the  
advantage. She made the mistake of taking her eyes off of him for just a 
second,  and in that second he attacked.
 
They struggled back and forth, each trying to out do the other,  trying to 
see who could injure the other the most. It was a worthy battle. The  
Cardassian 
lay on the ground unconscious, but it came with a price. Skyler  suffered as 
well. She had several lacerations, bruises and she was sure there  was some 
internal injuries. Her mouth was split and bleeding and her head was  pounding. 
Yet she still had to face  him.
 
Stepping over the Cardassian she continued forward, trying to catch  her 
breath along the way. Where was he? Why hadn't he appeared yet? What was he  
waiting for? Then she heard him.
 
"Well, Skyler, You have done well. You have retained what you have  been 
taught. But why have you resurrected me? You know that you can't beat  me."
 
"I am aware of your capabilities. I have not forgotten what you  taught. I 
brought you back because I need you. I know you won't understand, no  one does. 
Only I do. Only I do. So shall we proceed?"
 
"You don't look like you are in any condition to  proceed?"
 
"Let me be the judge of that" With that said Skyler lunged forward  at the 
man in black, falling to the ground and sweeping his legs out from under  him. 
As she fell she hit her shoulder again and again could feel the tingling  
sensation going down her now useless arm.  She tried to get up before he  did 
but 
she was a few seconds to slow. He grabbed her leg and twisted her over  onto 
her stomach and put his knee in her back. Grabbing both arms he pulled her  
back 
toward him, stretching her already sore back.
 
"So how does it feel to be in this position Skyler?"
 
"Don't worry you bastard, I will get out of it." With all her will  power and 
ignoring the pain she pushed up with her legs and somehow managed to  stand 
up, surprising him, and herself. Once she was standing she then used her  leg 
to kick him in the groin as hard as she could. He let go and doubled over.  She 
doubled over due to the pain in her back and both arms. She had to get up  
before he did.
 
She stood up and with both hands intertwined she swung with all she  had and 
hit him in the head. That got his attention and they both struggled,  throwing 
punches and cutting with knives. Both were hit in the head and in the  gut. 
Skyler could tell she was fading fast. She knew he could kill her and she  
wasn't ready to die.
 
"Computer end program" The darkness of the program faded to nothing  but the 
holodeck. Skyler tried to get up, she managed to get on her knees but  that 
was it. She had possibly gone to far this time.
 
The last thing she remembered before passing out was her  mother.
