<USS Avalon> "The Ferengi Ambassador" Cmdr Skyler

Looking out his window Ambassador Lanek watched the rain come pouring down
on Feringinar. That's all it did on Ferenginar was rain, rain and then rain
somemore. There were times when he wished that just once he could look out his
window and it wouldn't be raining.

He was dressed in the usual Ambassadorial attire for a Ferengi. He had
on a gold vest with gaudy looking buttons. His staff was not nearly as
ornamental as the Grand Nagus, but in time he hoped to one day be the one
holding
that staff. His headwear was gold as well and just as gaudy. But if you were
to ask him, he was dressed to the nines.

Tiring of the rain he walked over to his desk which was covered with
more PADD's then he cared to think about. Everyone wanted something, the
problem
was that they didn't understand that in order to get something they had to
give something first. It was somewhere in the "Rules Of Aquistion", what the
number was he didn't really care at that particular moment.

Before facing the stack of PADD's he replicated some tube grubs and a
drink. "Feed the stomach before working a deal." That was one of his rules.
After he finished with his grubs he returned to his desk to face the stack of
PADD's. Most were request's from the Ferengi Commerce Association wanting him
to speak to them. A few were of a personal nature and one was from a Starfleet
Officer named Commodore Sara Crusher.

He took the PADD from Starfleet and looked it over. He really destested
those hew-mon's. They were so.....honest and such stickler's for following
rules and regulation's. Not to mention that they had a most peculiar odor.
Getting up from his desk he went to the mirror he kept in his office and
checked
himself out. He had just finished using his tooth cleaner and his extremely
large ears were quite an item if he did say so himself.

Thinking to himself he wondered what in the galaxy this Commodore wanted
from him. He knew it would be a good oportunity for some deal making and
bribery. Something he was quite good at. He would wait for the Hew-mon to
contact him personally. He wasn't going to doing anything he didn't have to
do.
Especially when it came to Hew-mon's....
