<USS Avalon> The Being

The Being
By Commander T. Jackson Honeywell, Lieutenant Ka'Frawl, and 
Lieutenant Junior Grade Oliver Stanton

The being had boarded the Allegiance in a guise of friendship and trust.  The 
executive officer, T. Jackson Honeywell, and the chief security, Ka'Frawl, 
had met the being in the shuttle bay.  When it emerged from its ship, it 
appeared in humanoid form.  

Together the three started towards a conference room on Deck 3, to better 
talk with the being.  It was very friendly and talkative as they walked, 
wondering when he would get to meet the Captain.

"I am Hirshell Rutter Latha."

"Commander T. Jackson Honeywell, the Executive Officer of the Allegiance."

"We're called the Yoloron. From the Gamma Quadrant."

"Welcome aboard the USS Allegiance then."

"Is it possible that I could meet your Captain?"  Mr. Latha seemed to get 
right to the point.

"Of course, Mr. Latha, she has already been notified and should be joining us 
shortly."

Once they had entered the conference room, the being waited patiently for the 
Captain.  valQIS called down to the conference room that she was going to be 
delayed due to unexpected readings from the Nebula.  

"The insufferable wait, I can't believe it.  This is highly uncalled for."  
The delay defiantly must have made the being mad, as he turned into liquid form 
and attacked the security officer.  

"Security Alert", the XO issued just moments before the being attacked him.  
His body dropped to the floor, lifeless.  The being floated to the door and 
went right through.
