The Tempest Emerges – Part Two
 
 
Keith Ketchum sat on the bridge of the Avalon.   They had to leave Talos IV, 
but to where.
 
From what Anthony had provided him, they were not in any Federation that they 
had known in the past.
 
They had to leave soon. 
 
That was when it happened.
 
“Captain, the cloak is being turned off.”
 
“Shields up”, Keith responded almost as quickly.
 
“No response from the shields.”
 
“Evasive maneuvers!”
 
“Helm is not responding also.”
 
At that moment, they heard transporters… three people beamed in, but the 
Avalon was ready for them, and opened fire on them.  The three Tempest crew 
took 
cover.
 
Keith nodded to his crew, and they rushed the lift, entering in “Main 
Engineering.”  Once the lift was underway, “Computer initiate security 
protocol one. 
 Transfer bridge command to the Auxiliary Bridge.  Avalon crew, clear Deck 2 
and 3.”
 
They would move to make their stand elsewhere.
