Team Meeting -- A counselor's observation
-- a log by
Counselor Felicity Roan
Felicity walked into the room before the meeting began, trying to
introduce herself to those crew members she had not yet encountered, in this
case,
that would be Lieutenant Karg White Feather and Ensign Jordan Ranger. She
hated being so outgoing, but due to the nature of the Counselor's role, it was
vital.
She listened intently to the information that was present and studied
the maps. Then came the duty assignments for the impending encounter. When
she was effectively told to do nothing, she was a bit put off. But then again,
she reconciled that in due time, she might have more than enough patients.
The patience for patients would pay off.
She lingered for a moment for two as the meeting was concluded,
watching the crew scurry to their assignments, trying to ignore and suppress
their
own fears and concerns, in favor of rescuing the crew of the Avalon's sister
ship, the Allegiance. In her opinion, the most troubled was Commander Skyler,
but Felicity couldn't put her finger on the source of the unrest. Perhaps when
this encounter was over, she would speak to the Commander. Hopefully, she'd
want to talk... but as was the case with most officers, probably not.
Felicity left the meeting room finally and went to find her seat on
the bridge to observe what was to come. She hoped that all would go well and
there would be little need for her services...then reality called and she knew
different.
