<USS Avalon> Statbase 33 part 2

Lt. Snuffy


Lt. Snuffy and SgtMaj. Vikmil left the Commador's office after an extensive 
debrefing and after having been arrested.  The debrefing was about a new 
Roulaman out post near the Netural Zone.  Being arrested was a different matter 
all 
together.  Vikmil is to complete a course on shuttle operations as in 
reference to apporach and contact procedures before the two can leave the 
Starbase.  
The course is setup for the next day.  The rest of the first day at the 
Starbase was spent on getting quaters, and to have a little fun.   The two 
found a 
bar ran by a Vulcan who had no sence of humor.  The two were tossed out befor 
they could get too drunk and cause trouble.  Next they went to a Selay 
resturant 
for food.  

Vikmil stated "Snuffy, these Selay are like a people called the Rasp who live 
about 15 light years from my mome world."  Snuffy replys " he Rasp, tell me 
more about them."  Vikmil begains a story: "The Rasp are a species of 
reptillian bipeds that have spikes from thier short tails. The spikes are about 
15 to 
25 cm long, thier scales are a dull purple, thier eyes are a bright green with 
the pupils harzonal.  They are not tall, only a meter to meter and half. They 
are very smart with weapons and tactics, but are poor in mantance of thier 
ships.  They are friendly, but only contact other specieses when they need 
help." 
 

The Selay waitress heard all this and was happy to hear of another race of 
reptails.  The Gorn were the only others that she had heard of in her long 
years.  She brought the food to the two who she had never seen before.  She 
noted 
the on looked simular to humans, but the other was a BIRD!

Snuffy & Vikmil finished thier meal and returned to quaters.  The two went to 
sleep and rested for the next day.  The next day Vikmil went for his training 
and Snuffy went shopping. Snuffy found several items he liked, but he founf a 
Bat'telh for Vikmil along with a holochip with instructions on its use.  He 
bought two so each could learn a new combat skill.

That afternoon, with all required training compleated, the two set otu to 
complete the journy to Snuffy's homeworld.
