<USS Avalon> "Shocking Events" Lt. Skyler

"Shocking Events"
Lt. Skyler

Skyler entered "her" sickbay the next morning with somewhat more zeal than
on previous mornings. Today she had plans, plans that included the testing of
the interrogation units and other torture devices. She had spent too much time
working on saving lives, now it was time to work on getting information out
of traitor's, prisoner's and anyone else that got in her way. She was not yet
as ruthless as her sister, yet she had seen what it had done for Soliel.

Walking into the main sickbay area she moved over toward the specialized
biobed that would be used for interrogation as well as torture. She called to
Petty Officer Nunez. Once he arrived she had him lay on the biobed where it
automatically strapped him in with leather and metal restraints, across the
chest, arms, thighs, and shins. There was no way for him to escape his fate.
There is also a monitor that goes across his head to monitor his brain wave
functions.

Once he is strapped in any number of scenario's can take place. For this
scenario Skyler chose to test Nunez's ability to tolerate pain. To achieve this

end she would attach electrodes to his body and at different intervals she
would shock him with different voltages, each increasing in intensity and
timing
 intervals.

She began with the lowest voltage possible and held it for only a mere 2
seconds, noting the results. Essentially nothing significant had happened. She
did notice that with each increase in voltage and each increase in time there
were significant changes in the petty officer's bodily functions. His heart
rate would increase, his respiratory rate would increase and he would arch his
back, or attempt to arch his back off of the table. If Skyler kept this up
for too long she would end up killing him and would have to find a new guinea
pig. She discovered that he did not have a high tolerance for pain. When they
had reached 320 watts for 5 seconds he was screaming rather loudly, his heart
almost stopped and to make matters worse he soiled himself.

She would have to wait to continue her tests. She needed her subject alive
to continue.
