Search and Rescue

With Lieutenant Karg White Feather, Ensign Jordan Ranger 
And with Special Guest Captain valQIS Kat

The Captain entered the bridge, still wearing his stage clothes, and quickly 
moved to his chair, and took a seat.  "So much for the break", Keith muttered 
to himself.

"Sir, we are getting a very weak signal, appears to be from the Allegiance", 
Ensign Ranger stated from his Ops station.

"(Static) Captain valQIS Kat (static) Allegiance (static) (dead air)"

"Can you boost the signal, Ranger", Keith inquired, as he stood, as if that 
would improve the reception.

Everyone on the bridge perked up as the message played again on the bridge 
speakers, "This is Captain valQIS Kat (static) USS Allegiance, to (static) 
fleet 
vessel (static) we are in (static) of immediate assist (static) Ship damaged 
(static) life form (static) killed the XO (static) radiation (static) (dead 
air)"

"That's all I can get, Sir", Ranger advised.

"Where is the Allegiance", Skyler queried also now standing.

"She's near the Aquli Nebula", Came the report from Karg.

"Ensign Phillips, lay in a course and engage... maximum warp", Ketchum 
ordered.  "Skyler, team meeting in the conference room with the department 
heads in 
five minutes.  Karg, try to get telemetry from the Allegiance for the meeting. 
 I want to know what's happening before we get there.  Ranger, send a message 
to Command that we are on our way to her location."

As he stated this he headed off the bridge to his quarters to change into his 
duty uniform.  Keith felt a commitment to valQIS, as he was her Captain, and 
she his XO.  Together the trust and business relationship grew, and this saved 
them from the Borg among many other dangers.  And now she was in trouble with 
her own ship.  The Avalon zoomed through space like a white stallion to her 
rescue.
