Rydyn - Dead Ahead

The star of Rydyn appeared on the viewscreen.  The Rydyn Homeworld was the 5th 
planet in the system.  The ship made it's way to an orbit around it.
 
Ensign Kaera Ashayu, the Avalon's new chief information coordinator, arrived on 
the bridge and walked to the Captain's chair.  With her, she carried a PADD 
with information that was requested, and hand delivered it to Captain Flubb.
 
Flubb took the PADD and read.  According to information the Rydyn's were 
humanoid in appearance, yet had a unique look about them, something about red 
skin and blueish green hair..  
 
They had only developed warp travel in the past two years, but not able to 
exceed warp 3.  But as the Dominion War had hurt the Federation, they were more 
than willing to grow.  And the Federation Council invited a delegation to 
attend a meeting in San Francisco with some of the Ambassadors as they 
discussed admitting the system to the Federation.
 
As he read, Flubb nodded, as if taking all the information in.
 
Kaera still stood next to the chair, either waiting for questions or to be 
dismissed.
 
Finally finishing reading the logs, Flubb looked up, "Ensign, for detailed 
work, thank you."

"Thank you, sir," she responded.  It was satisfying to do a good job.

"Ensign, Dismissed."  As he turned his attention back to the PADD.
