He watched the staff meeting from his office on the viewer, and saw the 
report about Flubb's killer.  He was worried.  He was a suspect.  How was it 
determined that he, a lowly Petty Officer would be a suspect in the death of a 
Captain.

Lol decided to pack quickly, he wouldn't be the scape-goat in this charade.  

He moved from his office to his quarters, and packed quickly, a single bag.  
But Lol forgot the pair of Durvan crafted soft-soled shoes in the bottom of 
his closet.  He knew that Snuffy would also be leaving shortly, and he would 
stow away on that same shuttle.  Getting away from the Avalon.

Today, Lol decided to get away.  He wasn't going to jail for murder.
